DoctorDave provides on-site computer support on a wide range of technology products generally providing same day or next day service with immediate call backs. There is no extra charge for evening and weekend service.

Scope of Service

Typical services include, but, certainly not limited to:

Typical customers that benefit from DoctorDave's services. Because there is no extra charge for evening and weekends, these type of customers particularly benefit and make up a large number of his client base.

Dave works on Macintosh and IBM compatible/PC computer systems. We don't think of a Mac as a "toy" nor do we say "I don't do Windows." Dave isespecially skilled at getting Macs and PCs working together and sharing data.

Most companies you'll find either work on Macs or work on PCs. Dave has never understood why companies choose one or the other. People deserve to be helped with both types of computers.

With our strategic partnerships, we can work with you to provide an end to end solution for practically all your technology needs. Just like your physician, we'll refer you to someone we trust if necessary...and follow up just to make sure they are taking care of you.

Locations Served

Most customers would prefer that their computers be serviced at their location rather than on a tech's workbench, so as a mobile technician, we bring our office to you.

A $10 trip charge includes service to Lawrence. Topeka and suburban Kansas City generally west of the Missouri/Kansas state line is a $15 trip charge. Other locations such as Baldwin, Lecompton, Perry, and Toganoxie are a $25 trip charge. A portion of the trip charge is designed to pay for carbon offsets.

Rates

For new clients, the rate is currently $70 an hour, with a minimum of one hour (additional time is billed in 1/2 hour increments) plus the trip charge. A portion of the trip charge is designed to pay for carbon offsets.

Generally, payment is expected at time of service, and we can take both Visa and Mastercard for payment at no extra charge!

Strategic Partnerships

Apple Computer store on the Plaza and Leawood : Need anything Macintosh related? I don't sell computers in order to give you the best quality service, but the Apple store is a great place to buy in our region.

BestMacs (Lawrence, Topeka, Kansas City): Brian Best and his staff are outstanding people. You might even see me behind the desk on occasion as we "cover" for each other when busy. While we are seperate companies, our goals and stratigies are integrated. I refer warranty repairs to Brian as well as many other hardware repairs. His staff can handle the most complex repars out there. They'll even sell you a Mac and help you keep your business local. A great alternative to driving to the Plaza or Leawood

Desktop and Data Solutions, Wong Computing Services (Lawrence): Curtis Martell and Patrick Wong often handle PC calls for me when I'm unavailable and I take care of their clients as well when they are out of town. I respect these gentlemen in the highest and know they do a great job. I enthusiastically refer and recommend them.

indepsys (Lawrence, Topeka, Greater KC): Alex and John I've only known for a short term, but was very impressed from their work at a former employer of mine. These guys will focus on small to mid sized business clients that are looking for comphrensive monthly preventative and proactive solution relationships.

Dynamic Computer Solutions (Topeka, Lawrence): For those advanced services I don't provide, Dynamic provides excellent customer service focused support for such things as telephony, routers, Novell networks, WAN, etc.

Jeff's Audio Video:(Lawrence, Topeka, Greater Kansas City) Jeff Huffman and I often work together and share similar philosophies and approaches to business. Have too many remotes, something look great in the store...but lousy in your living room, or your VCR is still flashing 12:00....Jeff's your man.

Sunflower Recycling (Lawrence): Chris is a great guy that really believes in the work he's doing--saving the world one can at a time. While computers are supposed to make everything paperless (ha!), when I do print something out Chris reduces my guilt because I know that printout will end up in a better place than the landfill. Remember what we throw out today we'll be eating for dinner tomorrow

DCC Refer and Connect: The purpose of Douglas County Connection is to promote member business's through structured networking that encourages quality and reliable referrals. This is a great group and allows me to offer you recommendations on a wide range of services with people I trust and respect.
