Apple Laptop Battery: Safety Recall

This is an important one. Apple has recalled for safety reasons many of the batteries in Powerbooks and iBooks with G4 processors. Unfortunately, there appear to be two separate recalls. Epson printer run out of ink too quickly? Apparently so did others: some believe the ink was marked as empty before it fully was. This settlement covers most modern epson printer and gives you either a check for $25 and $20 epson store credit or $45 store credit on Epson's website. The store credit apparently can be filled out online and you can get in instant code. Seagate Hard Drive Settlement

When Western Digital Settled, someone got smart and went after Seagate. In this settlement, you'll either get 5% of the price paid for your hard drive or some free backup software. Again, we recommend participating because backups are so important

Sony Camera Settlement

Apparently after using some Sony Digital Cameras and Camcorders, everyone looks like the Incredible Hulk with a green tint. They'll fix it for you ore pay you back for a fix here. No Longer available: Western Digital Hard Drive settlement: Free backup software

Sometimes 2 plus 2 does not equal 4. Hard drive sizes are subject to various rounding in stated specifications and usable size. That's why your 80 gig hard drive, only shows about 74 gig. This lawsuit gives certain western digital hard drive owners. If you bought an after-market hard drive (one that did not come installed in your computer), you get a free backup program. we highly recommend participating in this settlement if eligible, because backups are so important.
